Composer’s Note:
It was two years ago that I thought I had found it—The answer to this question: What is the precise understanding of the concept of “situation”? With pride and joy akin to “Richard Wagner,” I published the collection of “Situations” in the “Post-Orientalism community.” It was a complete and honorable failure. My entire theory was misguided regarding the concept of “situation.” Why? I had disregarded the “time” parameter necessary for a full understanding of a situation. The spacetime dimension demands that nothing can be absolute in a situation without an accurate understanding of time. But where does the problem originate? To comprehend “spacetime,” one must understand geometric logic, counting time in “spacetime.” Numerical knowledge will not help us understand this. Numerical mathematics only helps the specialist employees of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) as well as the Global Positioning System (GPS). Curse upon these incredibly precise GPS systems that control everything numerically. Even the act of going to the bathroom is not spared. The tax department doesn’t jest with anyone; everything is accounted for, even if one never visits the bathroom. However, they don’t calculate anything in “politics-aesthetics” numerical mathematics. “Our world is nothing”; “Samuel Beckett” was correct. The uncounted will be counted through geometry. But what will be the geometric time in music? Leading composers have presented various thought-provoking theories thus far. In this “spacetime” collection, I attempt to comprehend and explore the complex and unknown aspects of the fourth dimension. Theoretical foundations are vital to understanding the situation. I will try to write the sheet music with the utmost care and obsession. Everything must be safe within the reach of GPS control. Who knows? Maybe this time it will be a big failure. Therefore, I will humbly try to continue the discourse on my “time” theory. It’s an honor that you’re listening. And also, send me your advice and opinion. I hope you enjoy it.
Sincerely,
Ehsan Saboohi
